These sachets are made up of a blend of ravintasara and vetiver, both native plants to Madagascar. Made by a woman's co-operative just outside the capital these sachets combine the refreshing quality of ravintsara with the earthy, deep scent of vetiver. A good alternative to lavender for scenting and refreshing drawers and cupboards.

The sachets are naturally anti bacterial, anti fungal and deter insects. A light spritz with water will revive and/or intensify the scent

Primarily grown for the perfume industry, vetiver is now an important element in preventing soil erosion and providing employment, particularly for women in Madagascar .
Said to be, one of the oldest plants on earth with therapeutic properties it holds its perfume in it's roots which are used to weave these baskets.
