Originating from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda this piece would have originally been used to hold honey and other food stuffs.

The pot has a beautiful organic form, carved from a single piece of wood. The age and patina to the wood is dark and warm, and it’s construction is solid and heavy.

The checkered metal details are handmade repairs added over time, they create a beautiful patterned detail which follows the form of the wood, it also means the pot looks different from every angle.

Size: 37cm tall, 16cm wide at its base.
