This is a boldly decorated fluid vessel from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Grass stitched repairs .A traditional vegetable gourd, bound when it was growing to create the spout. Has a used patina with some wear.  The gourd has a glowing sheen from handling.  In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use.

This item has been tribally used. 

Size: 30cm tall, 16cm wide at its base.
